About the event

Join us for an exciting UrbanDesignTalks featuring Daniel Bennett, President of the South Australian Chapter in the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA). Daniel's expertise in urban planning and design, particularly in integrating planning and design for more sustainable and livable cities, makes him well-positioned to speak on this topic.

As the founder of Aurecon's Integrated Design team in South Australia and a former Associate Director of Strategy and Design at the City of Adelaide, where he oversaw the development of the award-winning Adelaide Design Manual, Daniel has a wealth of experience to share. He has also undertaken leading strategic design roles on infrastructure projects across Australia, including Sydney Light Rail, Melbourne Airport Rail, and the Seaford Rail Extension.

In this webinar, Daniel will share his valuable knowledge on integrating planning and design to create more sustainable and livable cities. He will draw from his experience and expertise in designing infrastructure projects and his involvement in various green initiatives, including his current roles as State President of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA)  South Australia, Board Member of Premier's Climate Change Council in South Australia, Board Member of Walking SA, and Member of the South Australian Design Review Panel.

Join us for this engaging webinar and learn from one of the most influential urban designers in Australia. Don't miss this opportunity to gain insights on how to design more sustainable and livable cities for the future!
